Are you floating through life hoping for the best? I can honestly say that I was doing that for the past 5 years or so. I had some work goals that I was managing intentionally, but personally, not so much.
Last fall, I decided I needed to do something different. I wanted to lose weight and keep it off. I didn’t want to do some crazy diet that I wouldn’t be able to sustain, so I kept looking around until I found my current coach.
I firmly believe that things happen for a reason. I had no idea what a life coach really did, but when I figured it out, I knew I wanted to be one. I can think of no better goal than helping others figure out how to take control of their lives and live intentionally.
When I say live intentionally, I mean on purpose, with a purpose. A life with no regrets. That’s what I’m doing now. I know what goals I am chasing and I have a plan for each one of them. Every morning I write down my goals for the day and review/revise my plan to make sure I’m going after it, on purpose.
I visualize my future self and plan for the obstacles I know I will face. I believe that I will hit my goals because I’m doing everything I know how to do to get them accomplished. I will not quit.
